Serotonin Levels may play a role in triggering migraines.  Avoid foods that can lower serotonin levels, and eat foods that raise them.  Try turkey, black eyed-peas, black and English walnuts, almonds, sesame or pumpkin seeds, and cheddar, gruyere or swiss cheese. Also helping to a lesser extent are whole grains, rice, and other dairy products.  This of course is just an example and not a complete list.
